About Us
John Arnold
has been a fly fishing guide in Montana and Idaho for
the past 20 years. He began his guiding career in
Sun Valley, Idaho, where he fished Silver Creek, the Big
Wood and Lost River drainages. After a few seasons he
moved to Montana, where he has guided extensively on the
Missouri, Big Hole, Madison, Ruby, Beaverhead and Clark Fork
Rivers. John has also guided Steelhead fisherman on the
Grande Ronde and Snake Rivers in Washington. He
also spent many years as a commercial fly tier producing
destination specific flies for locations all over the
world. When not
guiding or tying, he spends his time chasing Steelhead
in the US and Canada,
hunting in Montana, and fishing the Lower Florida Keys.
Julie Arnold
has been fly fishing since she met John at a casting
clinic in Sun Valley, Idaho. Since then, she has become
an outstanding fly fisher, traveling with John as they
chase Trout and Steelhead all over the West. If you've
been on one of our guided trips, you've also enjoyed one
of Julie's delicious lunches. Julie also holds a degree
in Landscape Architecture, and when not fishing she
works as a landscape designer in Great Falls.
